  1. Check-out www.cubbycam.com I have one of his cameras and the quality is great! Service was also excellent.
  2. I've done a search on the forum but can't seem to find anything on the Zip Code searching? I am just wondering why this feature is not there? Wouldn't it be easy to add for Pioneer? It's often faster and easier to search a destination by Zip Code, isn't it? I know there is a telephone search which is ok, however telephone numbers often change and it only works on buisnesses. Wondering if anyone has an opinion on this?
  3. Hi all, I have just purchased a 2005 Chevy Avalanche Lt Z71 with the bose system and Onstar! I have an AvicZ1 unit which I removed from my trade in vehicle. I have the following questions? 1. Can this unit install with all functions working properly in this truck? (it has the Bose system) 2. Will the Onstar still work? I noticed with the factory radio that the Onstar is displayed on the radio screen when using the phone etc... 3. Will the stock chimes work? (Reverse sensors etc...) 4. Can I upgrade my Z1 to Z3 before re-installing the unit? (Does Pioneer offer this service?
  4. Can anyone tell me where to find the new bluetooth upgrade download? Thanks in avance!

Yes Silveradojeff, Please let us know what you think about the quality of the image once you have installed it. I also have bought the same one you did and i hope the image quality is ok?
  6. How old is your car and what is it? Are you saying you don't have a VSS wire on your car? Why buy the adapter if your car might have the VSS wire?
  7. gotta get that flasher unit in. It's really awsome and works well! Also really have to get that VSS wire hooked up otherwise some features won't work! post your pics when ya get a chance!
  8. wow, that wa very helpful. i have the shop manual and electrical shop manual which i bought from the dealer. Just looked at everything carefully just now and i see a wire which is in the harness which is called (antenna B+) on connector pin 23 in the shop manual. And in the electrical manual it labels that connector number 23 as the diversity antenna wire! I am assuming that this would be the wire I need to connect onto the blus Z1 power antenna wire? Wow i was so disappointed with the reception, This all make so much sense now. I owe you a beer! Thanks so much Guest!
  9. wow, thanks so much for the info! What is that wire in your Sonata described as? You obviously don't have a power antenna! And was this wire you hooked it up to in the orinal wire harness's cable?
  10. Hi all, I have installed the AVIC Z1 in my Entourage minivan and i do not have as good a signal strength for the radio stations. My original stock radio was able to get stations which my new Z1 is not able to lock onto or which now give very poor reception? Has anyone else noticed this? Is this normal? Anyone's input would be greatly appreciated? Below are a few pics of my install!
  11. HUm very weird indeed! Like i said mine did it once but when i restarted it was fine? Let me know what they say!
  12. nope i'm sure that's not the problem! It also happened to me once and i checked all the volume levels. Evertything was high. All i had to do is restart the car and the guide volume came back!
  13. Is is still not working? If it is now after restarting your car! I'm thinking its just a windows thing. It is a windows based hard drive and we all know windows can do some funky stuff at times. I'm thinking not everything loaded up properly when the unit booted up! It's only happened to me once and never again although I have only had my unit for a bout a week now!
  14. Nope, unfortunately you cannot stre any pics on the hard drive! You must keep that disc handy for the background pic changes! I'm not too crazy about that feature as well!
