i tested it out and it doesnt work. I tried almost everything minus reprogramming the unit. I finally ordered a rca to hdmi cord and am gonna hook it up in av1 and connect my samsung media link hub to that... hopefully that works

Finally got tired of messing with the hdmi on the z150 that i went ahead and got rca to hdmi adapter. I plan on using this with my samsung all share all cast hub and mirroring my phone screen.Hopefully its as straight forward as i think it would be..... Just plug rca to av1 and connect phone to my media hub. Dont understand why pioneer just didnt make the hdmi a regular source. adapter i purchased http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/221259352365?lpid=82

has anyone tried using googles chromecast with the z150bt?? Is this even possible i know it has hdmi input. was thinking of getting some kind of dongle to plug into the hdmi port.

i bought one of the sd cards from ebay. I figured they were legit. the auction never said anything about them not being.usually movies and software copies of things on ebay are usually really cheap reason of me purchaasing from them. The update never finished. it would boot up to pioneer screen i could turn up the volume and everything but the unit didnt initiate like nothing would load up. could press volume up and hear the volume bing pushed. but pioneer screen is all that showed on screen. I could boot into the secret menu and everything worked fine there.

I bought the firmware update from eBay during the update on disc 2 it froze on 98% done. So I called pioneer and told them the issue. They told me to send it in for repair. Before I sent it in I went into the menu deleted all pics and contacts and removed my DVD out of unit. Pioneer received the unit and told me I had a damaged circuit board and that it was 350 to repair! I called them and told them that it was a firmware issue. They said that they are not technicians and can't forward me to the technicians. So reluctantly I paid it. Upon receiving my unit they had reset all my updates and le

well thats great because i ordered this discs from ebay. i tried putting them on different sd cards but they had the same results. here are pictures of what i am getting. u can see in the second picture where it fails.

i did the update but when i stick in my sd card for the part 2 i got it updated all the way to 28% then failed. now when i try it i keep getting update failed retry. I have since then booted to test mode and tried to force the update and on the first sd card it goes all the way through then says error failed and tells me to reboot. is there a fix or am i just sol

i had the same issue and pioneer charged me just the $200.00 fee. this was 2 years ago. from my understanding it costs $200 to fix any issue.

I have an old z1 sitting around the house in which the harddrive went out. One of my buddies z2 screen got cracked by accident i swithced the HDDs in them and my unit would not read his hdd is there something i am missing? it should be plug and play correct?

hey if your trying to sell it how much will you sell it for... But i no for a fact that pioneer fixes that issue for 200.00 i got my shattered screen fixed for that price and your screen isnt shattered. just a heads up if you wanna sell pm me

i have my zune connected to it and i get the audio just fine but no video and i have gone into the settings to turn on the video on the zune to display on an external monitor. Also the correct source is aux2 and i have the settings on the D3 is set to video. Thanks

i Have a d3 and was wondering if it was possible for the front aux to show video or if it is only for audio. If so when you got audio going through your speakers what do you have on the screen. My Screen is black with no video i cant even put my background picture on the aux2. Do i have to connect it through the back to get the video to show?? any answers will be very appreciated.

i too have the same error but tracked mine to my iphone every time it would pull a message or right before it rang my 7" rear view monitor would go out. i have just been dealing with it though. i might try a video amp next time i take my car apart.

If i was in that situation i would definately return the item just for the point and go buy the new one at circuit City. Why would they not Price match.Most places price match up to three weeks i believe. Hell where i work you have 30 days to return an item/ take care of price matching situation. As for me i would return it just for principal. Big buisnesses should realize that we are consumers and the only reason that their buisness thrives is because of us so in turn they should treat us a little better. So they loose $100 for not price matching but just by the gentleman putting that on this
