Oh the unit I have is a pioneer Avic f900bt

I have switched my phone to a windows seven phone and I am using google contacts. When my phone goes of it shows the number on my screen but not the name. Can someone tell me how I can get the name to appear?. Also when I get texts it shows that I have a new message but it also doesn't show. Is there a way of getting this to show. Thanks in advance.
