Excuse my ignorance, so where does the info come from when I pop the cd into my PC and play it using media player?

Actually page 91. No mention of it being for the higher end one. Say when available, I take that to mean as long as the CD has the info. Honestly, its a joke if a $700 radio cant read cd tracks.

This is a new install. Everything is working fine except when I put in a commercial cd in, none of the disc information shows up. Tried multiple cds. I don't see anything in the manual that says it's a setting anywhere. Any ideas?

I just picked one up for the wife's car and had a couple questions. First how accurate is it going to be without the pink speed sensor wire connected? Second, I'm using a Pac SWI-RC for the steering wheel controls. The instruction say to plug the jack into the proper port, but which is it? I was thinking it would be the hardwire remote connection on the Pioneer, but wanted to verify that. Thanks for any help.
