  1. Agreed. Check the arliberator forum for people with set up like you and if you can't find the answer, email them or post a new topic and the arliberator crew will figure it out for you...they have awesome support...
  2. Yea, that is a pretty cool cord to have both micro usb and micro hdmi. I'm not sure how that works, I guess the cord gets the power for the micro usb from the head unit. Just make sure you get the right type of cord for your phone, mhl or hdmi and that it is the right kind of cord for a phone. The razr uses the micro hdmi and has to be a Type D.... which is compatible with mobile phones. This is the cord I got on ebay for $5.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/260973206269?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D260973206269%26_rdc%3D1
  3. Save that money and buy the Arliberator App with it....and still have money left over...LOL
  4. I am not sure what adapter cable you mean? Are you talking about the Android kit that has the mini HDMI and M cord and the Mini USB cord? If so, no, you don't need to buy the android kit, you can buy cheap Mini HDMI and Mini USB cord off ebay for $20 and save some money. Worked perfect for me. Only difference is giving extra money to Pioneer for the cables.
  5. If you have to upgrade your phone to Android JellyBean OS...here is the link and instructions on how to root your phone after the upgrade so Arliberator works with the AppRadio 2 again. http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/6924-root-achieved-for-jb-ota-razrmaxx-xt912/ Works perfect!!!!!!!
  6. How do we get this thread pinned to the front page like the iphone full control?
  7. Arliberator continually updates the software too to make it bettter and better...... best ap for those using Android on the Appradio 2
  8. I bought the razr maxx dock and connected the hdmi and usb cord through my ashtray in my vette. It slide in perfect and stays in place, so all I have to do is dock the phone for a fast connect. I definately recommend a dock if you can install it.
  9. The Arliberator seems to have fixed the pair everytime issue with the razr max. Now I just have to popped my phone on the dock, hit the arliberator connect button and I have full touch screen control of my phone on the AppRadio 2. It only takes seconds now instead of minutes. The best android app I ever purchased. PERFECT!!!!!!
  10. I also put a help post on the re-occuring pairing issue with the razr's. Hopefully someone has a fix for it and if and when I find out, I will post it here too.
  11. i don't think so, but it wouldn't suprise me....any way to get a few more bucks out of us...
  12. yea, try the help desk, it is getting way better, you would think pioneer would have figured this out before releasing it...wtf..
  13. The pairing every time is an issue and it seemed to start after the ICS upgrade. Hopefully it is just a matter of time for an upgrade to fix it so that once you pair, it does it automatically every time in the future. Having to wait for the pair request and then quickly touch the pair when it pops up before it disappears is a real PITA...
  14. Does not seem normal to me, I didn't have any issues with the sound on any app. I would check with the appradio.com forum help desk if you are still having issues.... wish i could help more
  15. Yea, I had the same problem at first, I used an older version of the utility that did not root my phone properly, once I used the 1.82 version, it worked like a charm.
  16. I hope that works, but if not, they have full support at the following forum, just register for free and put up a post under the help desk topic and they will respond with a solution pretty quick.... http://appradioforums.com/Forum-Help-Desk
  17. Here is the link where I got the free utility to root my phone via my desktop computer, pretty simple and took about 10 minutes to do... then my arliberator app worked perfect... http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/4654-droid-razr-utility-182-windows-for-verizon-droid-razr-and-droid-razr-maxx-only/
  18. Have you tried going into the arliberator app and the far top right settings tab, click it and click the calibration tab, this should bring you to the red dot calibration on your head unit. Also, hit the ? on the arliberator app and check the superuser tab, this will check and see if your phone is rooted and working properly.
  19. Also, the free Screen Standby app in the google play store works great with the Razr Maxx too, so you can turn off your phone screen when it is docked to the head unit.
  20. Finally!!!!!!! Just released on Google Play, the ARLiberator App gives you full control of your Android phone via the head unit. I just got done testing it and it worked like the appradio2 should of when it was released. The app is $29 but worth every penny. Best app I have ever purchased so far. I have the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. I had to root my phone with a free droid razr root utility 1.81 via my computer, just do a google search, and then uninstall the appradio app from my phone. Connect the phone via hdmi, launch the ARLiberator App, pair via bluetooth to your phone, go throug
  21. Back to the drawing board, I think ill try the relay.
  22. I got my tr7 today and have been trying to program it. It came programmed for the alpine bypass and the instructions only have up to 16 modes. I tried to do the 17 mode but I didn't get the 17 confirm lights. Can this one be programmed in 17 mode or do I have to get the relay and program it in 12 mode?
