Right navigation is for places you don't know about. Pioneer AVIC uses navtec right, or teleatlas something like that? Whatever it is I believe it's the same thing mapquest uses. When I put directions into [url=http://www.mapquest.com]http://www.mapquest.com[/url] they give me the correct route, but they always for some reason take me a long route to my destination where I could have taken a short cut and gotten then in a short amount of time. So it's probaly the same with the z1, but the z1 will learn your shortcuts and apply them to your routes next time. God Bless.

I don't see whats the big deal about this bypass thing, the last thing I need is for me to be to be driving enjoying a good sandwhich and one of you car navi driving movie watchers not watching the road hit my car and the knock my sandwhich out of my hand and car and wreck everything, sheesh. :x :x :x :x

Yeah make sure you check where the antenna is mounted too, but anyways I can't buy the avic z1 from crutchfield anyway, it's sold out. I believe they stop because like I said, I heard it was being re-called. I'm in Florida too, so I will really need it in the cities you visited like Orlando, or Jacksonville. I want to install the navtraffic, rear view camera, and passenger dvd head units, but I hope everything with the z1 get's worked out. I hope you didn't buy it from ebay. God Bless

They're number is in the manual, I heard the products were re-called though. I've seen a bunch a good reviews and two bad ones so far(why would I not get it because of two bad reviews), but I'm not getting it until the fall, hopefully it will be better then. Unless something else comes out, i heard a new eclipse or kenwood was coming out? Also I just like in-dash players better. But don't e-mail pioneer they probaly will not respond to your question by e-mail. Call them at the number and see what they say, especially why certain units are being re-called. But back to the magellan go here I bet

Really rychone, I was hope to speak to someone from Atlanta who has one. Because I mainly wanted to drive there to try the z1 out, the accuracy issue is not good then, how about e-mail z1 and letting them know? MChance I know the megallon(however you spell it) may be good, but I just wanted something that would fit in my dash and have hi tech features, but hopefully by the time I get it, updates will be in. But rychone, in Atlanta for example in POI if you goto entertainment then maybe the Georgia Dome, will it get you there good? Because I never drove in atlanta and I'm relying on the z1 and

Hmmm? Maybe you have it installed wrong, this has to be the only bad review of the avic z1 out of millions, check the cnet reviews! Really the first, don't try to mess with the wires to make the movie and greyed out things work while driving, it's taken out so you will not wreck, maybe doing all that is throwing the GPS off.
