  1. I find my iPhone takes a while to start but its 32gb and nearly full so if the HU has to collate data maybe understandable?
  2. This may be as useful as "switch it off and on again" but check your settings on the HU, there is a line that says RGB INPUT and it will either say NAVI or IPOD, if it says Navi it is looking for the add on Nav unit, change it to iPhone/iPod and you'll be up and running.
  3. Bigdaddy I use NavMii it's ok, but the music issue you have is due to not understanding the way the AppMode works with the HU. Select your music before going to AppMode do it through the normal iPhone/iPod control on the HU. Then switch to AppMode and as long as you have AppSoundMixing enabled you will continue to listen to the same music.
  4. I believe this is the AppSoundMixing setting in the system menu change setting to AppSound Mixing to low. This setting allows you to hear your Apps (Navi instructions) whilst listening to radio. If you launch music using CarMediaPlayer app the AppMode will takeover the HU, and you will get full volume. Close all AppRadio apps running in background on iPhone and try again. Personally I only use AppMode for Navi the HU does a good job of playing iPhone music and video without the help of AppRadio
  5. I have had this complaint too. The fix I have at the moment is to pull the AppMode cable out before answering the call. It seems that the cable is causing some kind of interference. I tried a few positions yesterday of the phone in mount, when I took it from the mount and hung it down it had no buzz according to my wife listening at the other end. I will probably try to remount the iPhone elsewhere whilst speaking to the wife to find a location without buzz.
