Just tested the 30 pin adapter with my Z110 running Z120 software and it worked just fine for iPod playback and control. My worries have been eliminated! Only thing I have not tested is Pandora and my Sirius XM App. Neither of them I use often so I am not terribly concerned althrough I do like the dedicated Pink Floyd channel on Sirius and Pandora... It was already mentioned that Pandora works fine so I am not worried but will test those later and post if there is a problem.

Long time lurker here. I got my iphone 5 when they were first released as was really worried after reading here as well as on Pioneer's website. I've been checking this thread daily to see if there was any good news which there appeared to be.. None the less, I own a Z120 in my truck and a Z110 in my car. They 110 Was updated to the Z120 via the factory SD card update. The Z120 in my truck has the original software. I just got my lightening to 30 pin adapter and tested my iPhone in my truck on the Z120 and I am pleased to report that it worked just fine. I was able to navigate my playlists
