Found out the Metra wiring harness I got was wired backwards!! Got the right one installed now but still don't know how to get the auto dimmer to work as the headlights on the Volvo are always on. Would also love to get the backup sensors working again too.

I have the same car and am trying to install an AVIC X940BT but am having issues. I've installed in Volvo before but this one has got me stumped. Here's my issues: 1. Power is not switched. Unit turns on as soon as the wiring harness is plugged in regardless of ignition position. 2. No sound to speakers. I have the wiring harness matched up and have double checked. 3. Dont know where to connect the blue system remote wire, pink speed signal wire, orange illumination wire, or purple reverse signal wire. 4. Don't know what to connect the blue wire from the harness to? Thanks for a
