kann ich mit der Supertestmode auf mein AVIC F940BT die neue NAVTEQ City Nav S America NT 2013 installieren.

 

Ich habe dieses Forum und auch andere studiert, aber bisher keine Lösung gefunden. (mit der Testmode 2.3 komme ich nicht in mein Betriebssystem)

The testmod 1.4 works very well with f940bt

Pour activer les radars tu va dans paramètre navigation, ensuite dans traffic ,info traffic et infos affichés puis tu selectionne contrôle police .

Going off topic here but so many comments about this in this thread... From v3 software onwards the AVIC F30/40-BT (930/940) need a 3rd party Database for speed cameras from POIbase.com

 

You load the database on to your head unit via SD card and then It will alert you. Note the head unit doesn't detect, it just warns you of cameras logged in the database against your GPS location.

I don't know if we had any speedcams on it before, we've not long had the unit so haven't looked into everything. I'm trying to work out the speedcam thing at the moment but can't make much sense out of it.

I certainly haven't found an obvious setting for it though, so I'm trying to add them myself as POIs.

Mrt71 says that ca works the detection of radars with f40, that worked before on mine also but since 2/3 month no speedcam

My F940BT was new in 2011, I had updated with the 2013 map (in 2013) I also used the testmod (1.4)
to back up files from the avic (which everyone should do before touching his avic)
now I have the card in 2013 for 2 years I wanted to put the card in 2015 but too many uncertainties about what is written here!

no wonder some avic destroy them!
example some say you must change verinfo.dat else say you must change cardinfo.cif

(I had testmod used for anything else on my F940BT ... which means after some of it is impossible to update the card 2015)
