I'm using the Sony RM-X4S. It's an old wired remote for Sony headunits. Vol up/down, and attenuate work fine. Next and previous track work most of the time.

I ordered the Appradio 2 and and will be using ARLiberator. I have an HTC EVO 3D (supported by Pioneer for Appradio2). The phone has been rooted. Will the appradio still need the parking break switch to be activated when using ARLiberator? I've installed the Screen Standby app and have a limited working knowledge of Tasker. I'm mainly looking for some tips to start out and would like to know what tasker actions are recommended or any other apps to make connecting as seamless as possible.
