THANK YOU you have found the problem. If I set mode from NTSC to PAL, the lines disapear but the image is not full screen..... I hope Pioneer will update his app to solve this... -

Hello, I have just bought avic f40bt (euro model). I am disappointed not being able to have voice control for my ipod... but my real problem is with my iphone 4s (ios6). When I plug the cable (authentic pioneer), everything works well except that the display flashes in advanced app mode. Is there a way to fix it? It is really annoying... Thank you!

With avic f40bt i had to go to "regional settings" and "setup language" button. Then choose language from sd. It will install and reboot.
