  1. I was able to fix my problem. I downloaded CNSD-310FM SD and copied the USER Data on to the HU and when I restarted the HU it did an update and now everything is working again.
  2. Yes, I'm able to boot into testmode but that's about it. When I remove the sdcard, it reboots and I get the message "There is no applicable program". Could I have a corrupt file on the Z140? I searched the forum and copied the RenewalIFLib.dll and CARDINFO.cif files but stll no go. Is there someplace to go to get the complete system files? Thanks...really appreciate the help.
  3. I was trying to install Condi's Testmode version 2.2.1 on my Z140BH (version 4.0) 1. I extracted the files to my sdcard (version 2.2.1) 2. Inserted it into my Z140BH 3. It rebooted and installed the files 4. It rebooted again and then gave me the message "There is no applicable program" I have no backup since I never got into testmode to backup my user data. I woul really appreciat any help on this. I have no idea what to do next. Thanks!!
  4. Well I installed my HU with the Metra GMOS-100 and had an issue with not being able to adjust the volume using the radio buttons or the steering wheel controls and also had an "ATT" error message on the screen. I called Metra tech support and they were no help. The tech asked a few questions and said it sounds like it's a radio issue, and said to call Pioneer. Of course I called Pioneer and the tech said it was a Metra GMOS-100 issue. I took the HU to my local CarToys dealership and had them bench test the HU and it worked fine. I then purchased the PAC OS-4 and SWI-RC, did the install
  5. Good point.... I figured that since Pioneer was touting they have the best support for Android that they would make the interface work better. The Z140 arrived last night and I should receive the GMOS-100 today. I plan on soldering the harness wires between the HU and GMOS tonight so the installations should go smoothe on Saturday. Thanks Roscoe
  6. The Z140BH demo'd better than the others and I liked that it supports android to the extent it does. I just hope that it can do more with firmware updates to be more like the iPhone. I see a lot of people are having power issues, map issues, bluetooth connection issues. I was expecting higher quality out of a flagship product that costs over $1k. I guess I'll install it this weekend and hope for the best. I was going to sell my factory unit but I think I'll hang on to it in case I have to send this back. Roscoe
  7. Hi Everyone, I just ordered a Z140BH, did I make a bad decision? I just found this forum and after spending time reading about all the issues I don't feel like I made a good decision on my purchase. Should I send it back for a refund and go with the Kenwood? Some of these posts scare the shit out of me, I hate dropping this kind of money on a product that has this many issues. Thanks Roscoe
