Yeah. For the 1st repair I sent it to the Ohio repair center. When I got it back and it still didn't work, they made me send it to the center in California.

Here's the deal, I sent in my n2 unit back in may for the flex cable upgrade. Got it back in about a week, installed it and it wouldn't power up at all. Sent it back again, they said the flex cable was loose. ( the same flex cable they just repaired and inspected ) So, I've been fine since then. I get in my car yesterday, and the screen won't open at all. Everything else is working fine, all the lights are lit, but the screen won't eject. Please tell me I don't have to be with out my unit for another month (or more )!!

I know some of you are going to say I'm cheap, but... My subscription just ran out and was going to renew for another year or two. They charge $3.99/month and $47.88/year for the navtraffic service. ...I'll wait while you do the math... EXACTLY!! It's the same price whether you pay monthly or yearly. I could have sworn that I got a discount when I originally signed up. I thought I was only paying around $2.50-$3.00/month when you broke it down monthly. Anyway, does anyone know of any discounts for the navtraffic service? Thanks

Let me tell you about my experience. I began having the "bad flex cable" symptoms (blank screen, some buttons not working), so I sent my N2 in for the flex cable upgrade on Friday April 27th to the Ohio location (that's the closest to me). To my surprise; when I got home on the following Friday (May 4th), my unit was sitting on my doorstep!! YAY for me!! So I bring it to the shop to reinstall it the next day. Guess what? Now nothing works!! Unit wont even power up!! So I call Pioneer, but it's Saturday so customer service is closed. I call on Monday, and they instruct me to ship it to

I don't think VCD will work, I tried that on my N2 with no luck.

I'm guessing it's that way for the N3 as well?
