  1. 4000NEX - No Sound

I turns out that the blue/white wire on the Metra harness was touching the White speaker wire somewhere within the connector. I pulled the pin out and taped it up. Now it's working fine.
  2. 4000NEX - No Sound

I'm just wondering if it seems like an obvious issue that I'm overlooking. I honestly don't think it's the wiring. I've checked that all the connections are landed to the right place. All the joints are soldered and then wrapped with heat shrink. The stock stereo works fine. I'm leaning towards the 4000NEX being faulty, but just trying to see if there are any other ideas before I send it back.
  3. 4000NEX - No Sound

I'm installing a 4000NEX into a 2015 Subaru WRX. I have the parking brake bypass, ASWC, and Radio wired into a Metra harness. The stereo turns on fine, I get HD radio quickly, but I can't get any sound out of the speakers. I've moved the fader around and still nothing. I've tripple checked the wiring and it seems the speaker wiring is correct. There is no factor amp in the car. Does this sound like a bad HU? Or is there something messed up with my wiring?
  4. When mine doesn't work it just stays on this radio screen as if nothing ever happened.
  5. I have an AVH-P8400BH installed in a 2008 Honda Civic EX Sedan. I have a cheap backup camera installed. I have the power for the camera wired to one of the reverse lights. I also have the trigger from the Head Unit wired to that reverse light. When I put the car in reverse, the head unit doesn't always switch to the backup camera view. I'm trying to determine if it's an issue with the Head Unit or with the camera/wiring. It seems to do it more when the car's been sitting in the sun all day, but sometimes it works after sitting and the sun and sometimes it doesn't work first thing in the morning. Has anyone else had issues like this? Is this more likely a Head Unit issue or the camera/wiring issue?
