Anyone know how to get this z110/140 to work when it's cold out? Thanks

Recently I bought a used z110 that had been upgraded to a z120. I upgraded it to a z140. For a while it seemed to work fine. No problems. The last few days when I start the car, It goes through the "Pioneer" splash screen and then goes black. There is no sound and the only button the works is the button to open the front. The buttons are light. It seems to happen when the car is very cold. Sometimes, it will work fine later in the day, and everything works as it should. Anybody have any clues? Thanks Dick
