  1. Are you using the composite video output? what screen are you using and model number? my Directed monitor looks soft and blurry. Do you have anything in between like a scaler?
  2. On the menu where it displays your bluetooth strength, your XM signal strength (I don't have the car with me, its in the shop, but its the Hardware menu or something like that) ... the very last item says something like Rear Signal.. and mine says "low"..what does this mean? I get a really crappy picture on my rear screen.. is this related?
  3. how does the picture look going from the composite output to your rear screens?
  4. what adapter is it for a 2007 Denali??
  5. by the way, I have both of these for sale. I decided that since my wife wants to keep everything simple to use, I did not install these. just send me an offer for both to mbjames@kforce.com
  6. I have a Denali 2007. We are having problems getting the antenna to work with the radio correctly! Is the Denali antenna powered? If so, which is the wire, how do you have it plugged in?
  7. Spent 5 hours yesterday working on various issues. Installed the blue tooth update and reset the headunit. ***Now, the bypass is working which is a surprise since the opposite should have happened. No parking break error any more. Its a June 2006 unit. I will let the installers work on the Sirius and the rest. I did try to get my Sprint Palm wx running Windows Mobile 5 with the Z1. Got everything working but won't transfer any of the phonebook. I go into the menu for the transfer and I dial a number from my phone but it won't retain it. I can manually type them in, but I have 30
  8. Well this did not go as planned. I bought a 2007 Denali. Replaced all the speakers, headunit, wiring harness, took out the headunit and put the following in the car RPTCARSYS-5, PIOSIRPNR2 Sirius PIOCDBI100 Blue tooth PIONDBC1 Pioneer Navigation PIONDBT1 Pioneer Monitors MTR993301 Metra Electronics Wiring Harness / Kits PIOAVICZ1 Pioneer Navigation Ducati's bypass Here is a list of issues: 1) The only time the center sc
  9. I bought both the DEQ and the AXM to hook into the Z1. After they installed it, they said there was no way to control the unit. Said they could not get 5.1 working and that the booklets say the Z1 is not compatible with these. The most they could do is be able to get Stadium and some of the other effects works. Waht are they talking about?
  10. Is there any way to make composite video look better? A cheap scaler ?
  11. I want to make sure of this..the Output for video going to the rear seats is the composite video Out..there is no other way of hooking this up?
  12. So why in the hell, would you offer the MIRROR mode on the Z1? Mirror mode duplicates what you see on the head unit back to the headrest or standalone screens in the back seat. Has ANYONE TRIED THIS???????
  13. Would a different monitor that supported the resolution of the output of the Z1 work? Maybe the screen is being fed an incompatible resolution?
  14. DVD is fine, its the menu display that looks like crap.. do you think amplifiying the signal would help?
  15. Today, I used the output for a 2nd screen mounted in the backseat. It was a 7" LCD screen from Directed Electronics. Did not say what the resolution was but looked very crappy. What 7" screens are out there that are good? Is there a problem with a low signal output or poor quality output from the Z1 to the backseat screens?? I am making a custom mount so I just want a 7" stand alone screen. Don't want the headrest or drop down type screens
