Mike i have the home screen on my setup and it gets rotated to fit the whole screen of the app radio. If i launch apps for appradio OS they crash after 30 sec. But if launch the springboard and then launch apps from there I works fine. When I turn off the car and then turn it back on it goes directly to the springboard how I had it set up before, touch input works still (I can see it on my phone when i touch something on the appradio) but the video is not being mirrored. I have no issue at all but i have insomnia and infinity task dont know if thats making a difference. But used an app for like 20 min with no problem. also have UIBackgroundModes in plist. Works great. Does any body know how to add apps to sbrotator to turn on or off or then the ones that are already there. Mike thanks for the iPad in my car.

Worked perfectly for me Mike! Tested for about 30 min. Scrolling is a little slow, but does work. Tapping the bars brings me back to the app radio screen. I have SBrotator 6 and it rotates the springboard for me on appradio. When it open the springboard rotates but not the pic orientation on appradio. If I open the messages app then close it with the black bars, it goes back to the springboard and it is rotated and looking perfectly like an iPad on the appradio screen. Notification banners couldn't be tapped on while in other apps. This is amazing work. Thank you.

Anybody get notification? I noticed today that my text messages are displaying on the app radio. Flex can be found at this repo getdelta.co not com. Also the guy that helped said the patches for youtube to play in the background, might be a good place to start also. He said look into that. Flex does seem possible to do what we need. We need to just figure it out. I have used to tweak other apps and it works well. There is a backgrounder on there for springboard but says it only work with a few apps but the developer is working on it.

Been working with guys from flex there is a Patch for AppRadio now in flex. Not sure if it is working properly though. Mike if the AppRadio app is running in the backgound and you touch the screen it should not have the finger with the red X right? Also SupDave is developing backgrounder for iOS 6. He has a beta right now for his personal use but is buggy. Should be just a little longer.

The developer who made Accelerate is updating backgrounder, just received a conformation email from him today. Quasar is almost done also.

Quasar will instal. So hopefully with the updated one for iOS 6 will work like it did on iPhone for iOS 5

Quasar is almost done with iOS 6, he is testing it on his mini. I have put it on the iPhone in the past and a had success. On mac you use better zip to extract the .deb and then in the control file just remove the ipad dependency and it works. Just couldnt resize windows. the developer might even put in support for iphones in the iOS 6 version. But if not we can get it on there. Anybody with iOS 5 want to try. will quazar for the ipad work to replace backgrounder. quazar can run on the iphone with a small tweak.

I might have some good news about backgrounder. Im will be meeting with a developer who can update it but he is going to charge. He develops for a living profesionally. Let's see what he says about it.

Mike just sent you a donation from wakeboardguy. Thanks for the hard work. I noticed sometimes if I tell Siri to play a song, the AppRadio app will come back on the iPhone but the screen on the deck will stay black until I go to the home. Tapping the advanced app mode brings it back though with out having to kill the AppRadio app. Still no springboard showing up at all. Everything else is working real good. Thank you.

That worked great for me mike. Thanks. Music videos, Netflix, unsupported apps, and Siri, is now on the screen. I thank you for the hard work. Expect a donation from me tonight after I get off work from bartending. Would you be able to add status bars for my cell connection so I can see how good my signal is, like battery and clock. Carbrowser was the only thing that did not work. Don't really care about it when App Ex is done because of Safari. Also carbrowser has not been updated since august. Springboard did not show up on the screen though. Also the gmusic app is pretty go

For now you will have to use the home button to back out of unsupported apps. This is because there is no backgrounder to run appradio in the background. That is what allowed the touch screen on supported apps in iOS 5. The original AppRadio app needs to run in the background to use touch on unsupported apps and it does not. When this gets figured out then the black bars will bring you back to the Advanced app mode. I used it with iOS 5 and it worked great. Backgrounder did that for us in the past but it is not compatible with iOS 6. The developer abandoned it. Someone needs to use his s

siri does work for text. i had an issue where I tap the siri button nothing happens but thats fixed now, siri will also play music and more. I found that installing app radio first then app ex second works best for me

you will not know until you stick the usb drive in with the update. I bout my appradio 2 in july and it had 2.11 on it. There is no way to find out with out trying to upgrade. Stupid. Also use Windows not mac and format USB to FAT not FAT32 or NTFS. Dosent work when format with mac. Parallels with windows works though. Virtual Machine

Appradio Ex kills my video out. When it is not installed I can watch music videos while driving but when AppRadio Ex is installed I just get a black screen. This is through the iPod app and the main screen. Also Netflix no longer shows on the AppRadio. I think in beta 3 it did work. I used to have Siri on the screen but now it is just on the phone and the AppRadio screen is black.

I used to get unsupported apps to open on the AppRadio but now none of them do and app like Iheart Radio and Pioneer Web Browser will not open on AppRadio. Iheart Radio app tells me to connect to AppRadio but it already is.
