Ive gotta avic z2 that comes on but the screen wont come on. Ive got my harness btw....anyhow, the ribbon that goes from the unit to the screen, fell off with the previous owner. I hot glued it back on and hope like hell it works.. well, it doesnt. Im sure I have all the contacts touching. Should I try again? If I cant do it, can som1 refer me to a reputable shop that can fix it? Thanx

A FRIEND GAVE THIS UNIT TO ME and the unit works. The screen doesnt....help?

HEY guys ive gotta avic z2 that has got everything to it. I just dont have the main power harness. it hooks from the truck to the radio. I have paypal and. if som1 has a spare or just 1 to get rid of. ill buy it

Hello guys! Let 1st start off by saying that I have found a great deal of info on my z2 already....just by reading post and replies on this forum. So I'm glad to be here and thanx a million for letting me join So my buddy gave me a z2 that wasn't working. He upgraded. Anyhow I've disassembled this thing and found that the electronic ribbon has become disconnected. That's all that's wrong with it. The ribbon is fine,its the clasp and or hold down that is broke. There's like a flap that is supposed to hold that ribbon in place...its gone. Is there a certain glue or some fix that y'all have f
