I check the settings menu on the unit and its set to iPhone, but it only has two choices: iPhone or navi. This was under rcb. So I don't know if there is a different place to change the idevice but I sure didn't see anywhere

What do mean? I'm just plugging the ipad in and it connects under iPod on the av source. I'm not sure where to change the idevice input

Hi all, I'm trying to get navfree to work with my new x5500bhs when using my iPad 2 (verizon model with gps chip). The problem is that the app will load just fine on the ipad but displays a black screen on the headunit. I have already tried going through the iOS settings menu on the ipad to turn on pioneer support under the navfree settings menu but the whole menu is just blank. I hoping that someone has experienced this before and has a solution. Thanks
