  1. Although the 140 is a great head unit, only having 1 USB port (and then having to dedicate that port to an ipod/ipad/itouch) has always been a sore spot with me. I've seen people posting about hubs and people struggling with boot order and all that. but I don't want something that is going to be a hassle every time I restart the car... so I posted on toms hardware looking for a usb switch (without knowing if such a device even existed).. something that I could put multiple usb storage devices into, but only have 1 output at a time. I assumed this would satisfy the z140.. http://www.tom
  2. I got a 100gb drive to recognize fine, but not a 1tb or 500gb (all 3 are 2.5" sata) in each case it can be assumed that I covered the basics using fat32, no files over 2gb, etc. I am formatting and copying content now to an older 2.5" 250gb pata drive. not sure how you got a 640gb partition to recognize? the only difference that immediately comes to mind for my failure and your success is that your hdd has a 120 power supply. mine I am first trying without any external power, but if needed I can use a usb Y cable, where the power wire can connect to a cigarette/usb power source (at lea
  3. I bought the z140bh not too long ago, I found the answer to my first issue here, but now I've stumbled again. although I got video working on an SDHC card, the video does not play to the rear monitor, I get only a solid blue screen. I wasn't sure if this was by pioneer design or not (if so, its a foolish design flaw!) since we know a standard DVD video disk will output to the rear monitor I took the same mpeg 4 files from the SDHC chip and burned them to a 4.7 dvd-r. however the z140 won't play those the same files from disc. I am thinking there are different requirements for vid
