So how do you reset when you can't use the unit?

How do you reset?? Remember I cant get into settings to do anything as its a blank screen. I have tried everything! And the unit never stayed on when I shut the engine off the first time. I think the unit is dead cant see any sign of power, even the iphone doesnt make that nose it makes when you first plug it in

Well got my appradio 2 installed an hour ago and its broke already! tried to do a firmware update and the unit got stuck just froze, turned engine off which should of turned the power off to the radio but it stayed on for 5 mins and then shut off and now the unit is dead, just a black screen, cant even be sure that power is till geting to it!! Owned it less than 10 mins and broke! Any ideas?

This may have been asked before but which would you say is better for appradio.. Iphone 5 or Android? Having just seen a youtube vid with ARLiberator it would seem that the android is 100% intergrated where the iphone isn't? I can't comment as I have not had my unit installed yet, I am using an iphone 5 but seriously thinking about android after seeing that youtube vid! What do you guys think or can advise?

Thanks guys, I did ask them and I am sure they said they are required to do it by law, but I will ask him again on Sunday.

Hmmm I am told that the retail outlet has to be fit it properly by law, I assume that this handbreak wire comes with the radio? And many thanks for your help

Hello, I have not got my unit yet , it will be installed here in the UK by Halfords on sunday, so at the moment I know nothing about the unit. From what I understand this thread it about being able to view video while the car is in motion. Is it only video that does not work when the car is moving or are there other functions that will not work. I admit I have not read all 18 pages of this thread but understand that the bypass is a hardware bypass and not a software bypass? Or is there an easier way ie software?
