Right now the serial number i believe i have is 9 digits of numbers and letters. It starts with a group of 7 numbers and letters, then a dash, followed by a number, then another dash, then followed by a letter. Please tell me if this sounds like a right serial number.

Alright I have a Avic-D1 I bought last year and never registered it... Now my question is when I'm registering it on the pioneer website it asks me for a serial number.... How do I get that without taking out the headunit? I searched throught the interface and in one of the information areas there was a "Product Number" and a "Version Number"... Is the product number the unit's serial number? Thanks for the help I need it for the map update! LOL
