Actually I got the video to work. U have to unplug it, press the play button on the ipod, and then plug it in. Then it works from there.

so I have to buy a new cable and scrap the $30 cable I already have? that's a bunch of BS. Apple screwed up big time on this one. My audio has been playing fine but the whole reason I got the iPod was cause of the video playback on the D3. I am VERY disappointed.

I am going to a car show soon and was wondering how long I could leave the D3 running without turning on my car and it not drain my battery? I wanna play a dvd while the car show is going on so they understand what the D3 does.
