I mounted the original screen below the stereo and had some custom fiberglass work done so that the d3 would fit. I THINK IT LOOKS TITS!!!!

did u mean bose? correct me if I am wrong....but wont that make the speakers sound like shit? When playing music thru sirius or ipod it is fine....but when I play video it is reallly low...when the vol is at 15 there is still no sound?????? WTF!!!

it is allllll the way up +4 i believe.????

I have a d3 bypassed but the volume from the dvd is extremely low even when turned alllll the way up to 40 and after adjusting the eq??? ANY IDEAS????

everyone that I have showed it to thought it was factory!!!

I have a D3 bypassed that is making a high pitched noise....does it need to be regrounded or is something else wrong?

DISASTER STRIKES....SO I took my murano to get a avic d3 installed where the bose stereo is....well little did I know, when you take apart the dash...there is a circuit board that cannot be removed without loosing all AC/HEAT controls among many other things....$1300 and 2 days worth of work...i hopefully have come up with a solution. I WILL POST PICS NEXT WEEK!

I was also wondering if I need to buy some sort of cord for the IPOD connection?? Not sure how that is supposed to be set up? Thanks.

I never knew that there were so many hacks for these units.....what ones do u suggest attempting or not to attempt.?...

I have had the D3 for quite some time...i originally just wanted to replace the factory screen with the d3 but didnt realize there are several buttons that have functionality with the screen...LETS SEE SOME CUSTOM INSTALL PICS!!!!

Hello I recently purchased an 04 nissan murano without nav. I already have a AVIC D3 unit and would like to install it. HOWEVER has anyone seen the inside of a Murano? WHERE IN THE HELL DO I PUT THIS THING? I was thinking about just removing the BOSE but to me it would look silly to have the Nissan Screen and the Pioneer Screen. ANY IDEAS... CUSTOM?
