  1. Buy the resistor at Radio Shack they are 10 for 60 cents or something like that. Be sure you plug the sub plugs into your wiring harness. I installed a D3 in my 2006 Mustang and it works great. Search this forum, under Mustang, you'll find lots of good advice.

    D3 nav

This is the first time I've really used the nav on my D3 since I installed it on my Mustang. Drove from Arkansas to Colorado and it took me right to the address I was going to. It did great directing me on the Interstates and the exits. Driving around it always took me back to where I was staying, and I only lost the satellite once while going in the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70. Overall I'm very happy with this!
  3. Office Depot sells LCD screen cleaning stuff. I use that with a camera lens cloth. Well, and a brillo pad when it's really dirty.* * DISCLAIMER: The use of a brillo pad on your very expensive radio is at your own risk.
  4. Thanks. Except for the VSS wire, I'm lost there. Ok and the amp. Are BOTH blue and white wires from the amp connected to the remote power wire? But, heck, it works and my car didn't explode. For that, I'm happy. *EDIT* And THANK YOU offroaderf150 for the help. Now my VSS is connected, and my amp and subwoofers are connected. And my car still didn't explode! *ANOTHER EDIT* Well I moved my XM and GPS antennas, driving around Fayetteville (LOTS of hills) I kept getting drop outs on XM. Stuck them both on the dash under the windshield and ran the wires down both door posts
  5. It took a while but I finally figured out how to wire everything (except for the VSS wire). This thing is SO cool! Nav unit works perfectly and had no trouble finding me, and I LOVE the XM radio.
  6. Looks good. I am waiting delivery on my D3 to go into my 06 vert. Is the display bright enough to see in sunshine with the top down, and where did you mount the GPS and XM antennas?
