Thanks, I called Pioneer and after the shorter than normal 12 minute hold (how can long hold intervals that are always long be higher than "normal")? They directed me one there. I had tried all three but prior to doing it with them on the phone it did not work.

I got mine last night installed using everything but the USB adapter to give my APPRADIO3 a second USB (has 2 nowhere to put this guy) Sounds much better than the AR3, is faster . I still like my Garmin NAV & think I'll keep using it. For the drive to work this morning no moving issues on the way home parking brake error.

Found this, did it am about to drive for the first time.

I got mt 8000 yesterday & installed it. I like it alot and can via HDMI use my iPhone 5 with ios 7.1.2 but it says incompatible USB and wont let me into apps on teh NEX desktop.

I am attached via apple hdmi adapter the same as my APPRADIO3 and apple USB cable. I tried USB 1&2 (currently in 1)

Any ideas?

I just ordered an 8000Nex by agreeing to pay the difference on a warranty exchange for my APPRADIO3. Can't wait to get it, & post my impressions hopefully mid/late next week.

The bypass is simple & IMHO part of the install. I am missing how it has any bearing on this topic. If the beta demands bypass, anyone not having it knows why it does not work & can add it or remain without the app.

Is there a possibility that someone will develop an update so that the Appradio extensions will work with ios 7 and the latest Appradio firmware?

 

i have the SPH-DA210...i'll be honest, unless they do develop an update for appradio extensions, this unit sucks. i'm the type of person that uses an old iphone 4 - i keep it in the car hooked up to the appradio. i would much rather use my old iphone 5 and keep that in the car , BUT I have an iPhone 5s that I use and i can't seem to find a way to use my iphone 5 for playing music on the appradio AND connect my iphone 5s for hands free calling. seems like only one phone can be connected via bluetooth on it which is why i have to resort to using an iphone 4.

 

I'm really starting to be disappointed with this unit.

The unit does what was advertised, it's not made by Mike, he for free released his app to us (thanks) and it works. If we upgraded before the ios7 app was ready we choose to go without it (wishing I waited)

You are right & it's on my phone.

When I search there is no preferanceloader.

No clue but nothing outside extensions will change that extensions won't run over ios 6.2.

I installed 7.4 & jailbroke, installed Extensions from Cydia it loads but crashes & disappears. I went to page 1 saw teh dependancies & alternate install routes.

I have MobileSubstrate & AppList but PreferenceLoader does not show up.

Now when I try to install I get missing dependancy iOS <6.02.
 

On my SPH-DA210 I had to use the usb cable attached to the unit after formatting the USB drive to FAT (it did not like FAT 32).

Search Cydia.

Has anyone gotten Spotify to run full screen? I have SB Rotator but it is powerless with Spotify.

Is there a way to get Spotify to rotate & go full screen?

In mine it was greyed out at all times until I switched the toggle.

I have a switch which I toggled and was able to fix my settings.

Why didn't the manual say the car must be parked with the brake on?
