  1. Thanks for putting it up, but I tried this one, as well as the east one (also unzipped West with 7zip), and neither work for me. The west generates burn errors using Alcohol or Nero, and the East burns but doesn't get recognized by the AVIC-D3. Hopefully ya'll have better success than I have. Anyone out there still offering to burn and ship?
  2. I am truly glad for those of you who happen to have phones that work - I wish that were true more often. However, the problem is - it's not. I also find it kinda funny that ALMOST every phone that works had to be tweaked in some way for it to work, or else the owner had to stand on one leg with the sun at his/her back to get it to work - part of the time.
  3. Yeah, it does suck, but as I mentioned before, all 3 of these phones are completely unlocked with full BT profiles.
  4. Yeah, I noticed that, too, and I see the same behavior here. At least that is consistent. I did post the model HTC (aka Tmo MDA/Cing 8125). The Moto is a V360, and the Nokia is a 6230b/i. I wouldn't be that irritated if the Nokia didn't work, because it is the oldest of the 3 at 2 1/2yrs., but the V360 and the Wizard are about a year old and especially in the case of the Wizard support all of the profiles ww/o Jetware's product. I hope to test a Parrot kit this weekend so I can let everyone know how it compares.
  5. I started a gripe thread about this elsewhere, but I think the option we all have to consider is A) returning the BT module and getting a Parrot kit (if you are in your return period and have easy access to the BT module like me) or find a public forum and try to petition or call for Pioneer to fix this issue ASAP. I mean, I have really become numb to vendors overpromising and underdelivering, and I fully expect that with any new technology I buy, I will really get "20% less" than I thought - and I am an EXHAUSTIVE researcher. Nevertheless, some features won't work as promised, there will b
  6. Not a one of them, and they are all fully unlocked and I use them for a number of things, including handsfree calls from some other car systems. I know you are absolutely right about the Verizon phones, though!
  7. I'll probably get flamed by some fanboys for creating a thread like this in my first 5 posts here, but I need to vent and maybe somebody here will be spared the aggravation. I bought about $1,500 worth of Pioneer equipment two weeks ago - a D3, XM tuner with NavTraffic, and the BTB200 bluetooth module. Got it installed, everything works okay - except the bluetooth, which will not work with ANY of the 3 different phones my family has (a Motorola, HTC, and Nokia - all 2 1/2 years old or newer with bluetooth supporting all of the BT profiles). Actually, I demo'd the Jetware software and th
  8. Thanks, all. I went ahead with it today and after the installer first said it wasn't going to work - so far so good. I did see a strange issue this afternoon where it didn't seem the radio was going to turn off, but I did ultimately get it to and it has been working okay since....
  9. All - I am about to install a AVIC-D3 with XM and BT into my wife's 2007 GMC Acadia (which has the GMLAN interface). I could have sworn that I read something somewhere that alluded to the fact that some of the early interfaces had some sort of "bugs" that were worked out later. I bought the first interface which supposedly works, a Peripheral GMAHLANB (her Acadia has the Bose system), but a local shop that does installs for the GMC dealership mentioned they were questionable and they'd prefer to use the PAC OS3-BOSE interface. They couldn't seem to state any specfic "bugs", and frankly
