Detonator

Anyone know how much voltage is req'd from the reverse trigger wire for the HU to switch to back-up camera? Mine's a Z130BT When I shift to reverse, I'm only getting a 5.7V signal on this trigger. It doesn't bring up the camera on screen. The camera is working, I've switched polarity in the settings and it comes on screen (all the time). It just won't launch via the trigger wire...?

Forgive me for the nube question, I'm new to audio systems and trying to install a Z130 in a hot rod we're building. My old iPod runs 3.1.1 -- and I know it's an old iOS. When I look at the Z130 compatibility list in the Owners Manual, the iPod compatibility runs from 1.1.2 to 2.0.1 -- which seems even older... I've been trying to play the iPod via a CD-IU51V cable, and it acts as if it's trying to sync -- the "do not disconnect" screen comes up on the iPod and nothing happens. I build hot rods in Santa Cruz in Northern California. While most of our works tends to be on traditional-styled cars -- lights and a horn only -- we're also working on a fairly exotic '34 Ford coupe. Part of the build includes an AVIC-Z130BT.
