Android compatibility with some AppRadio HU's

Hey guys new here, Unsure if this is the wrong section and if so, sorry. Just wondering if anyone has any idea in terms of making android work on head units other than appradio 2/3 and the x8500? for instance the avh-x5500bhs & avh-x7500bt only allow appradio mode with iphone.
