I'm not sure how I missed the parking break step but it worked. Thanks guys.

Today I had my 2005 Suburban hooked up to a nice and shiny AVIC-Z2. On the way home from the installer, my son noticed that most of the features were not highlighted/ selectable. I'm not sure if there is something simple that I'm overlooking or if I should take the car back to the installer. Thanks-
