  1. Thanks. I can't see why it still isn't detecting a speed signal on that cable though... all the vehicle dynamics work now and the nav works good, although can go a bit mad at times which it never did before in the Mondeo. I need to find someone else with a newer focus (2005>) who has fitted one to see what they did
  2. I'm also having this problem - no audio from the BTB200 for calling or music yet the phones pair up no problem. I've just checked the end of the IP Bus cable that goes in to the BTB200 and the connector is black so going by the previous post, that is the right way round as the blue connector must be in the back of the head unit. Any ideas? EDIT - Silly me, the IP BUS cable is going in to the wrong connector on the BTB200.. you would think IN means IN from the head unit
  3. Well its nearly 1am as I decided I couldnt go to bed without getting this working Took the D3 out and checked this speed signal cable - it's all connected and I see some strange fluctuating voltages on my multimeter as you would expect so it couldnt be that... Then i discovered the 3D calibration menu... reset all three options and voila, it works! However, the speed signal on the hardware info screen still shows 0 when im driving along and the vehicle dynamics mode errors with something like "feature not currently available" so something still isnt right with that. Still, the na
  4. I've had a search around on here and dont seem to find an answer to this... I have an AVIC-D3 which used to be in my 2006 Ford Mondeo. I didn't fit it myself, but when I took it out I noticed that the speed signal was connected as was the reverse gear. The handbrake had been sent to ground. I've now installed this in a 2006 Ford Focus and initially just to get it in there I just connected the harness, IPOD lead and GPS antenna. However, the nav wouldnt work. It got a good GPS fix fine but on the screen it looks like i'm going backwards or sideways... it wont route me anywhere and keeps ho
  5. Hi, I have an D3 which ive just taken out of my 2006 Ford Mondeo, ready to go in my new 2006 Ford Focus. Does anyone on here have one installed in a Focus? Just want to see what it looks like, see if it fitted behind the dash without having to cut anything away and confirm the location of the speedo and reverse gear signal cables - pretty sure I know where they are already, but would be good to check. Any help appreciated! Cheers, Dan.
  6. Well I didnt need to fiddle with it at all - just copied over the .cab file to the HTC, ran it (it restarted the bluetooth services) and hey presto. Shame it doesnt work on my new HTC running WM6.... i love that phone and will probably have to send it back.... Dan.
  7. Hi mvd, Install Jetware - I did that on my HTC running WM5 and that worked a treat.
  8. I have two HTC handsets, an iMate Jamin running Windows Mobile 5 (SIM Free) and an HTC S710 (SPV E650 on Orange) running Windows Mobile 6. The iMate running WM5 works fine after installing Jetware, was quite impressed with that, however even after installing it on my new S710 with WM6, it still does not work. I called Pioneer earlier and they said to call back in a month or so as they are working on a firmware update to bring the Bluetooth compatibility into the 21st century.... he didnt really know what he was talking about, but here's hoping! I've had a quick look through this th
