I am going to attempt to install the camera tomorrow in my 03 tahoe. Any tips/tricks that i should know about before i start. Where is the best place to mount it and best place to run the wires? Thanks.

your right. my borla exhaust would make it impossible to hear anything with the mic.

i have samentec corp edition. i can usually spot the virus by the file size. i dont use it very often and it really has not given me any problems. i tried using torrents but found it to be very cumbersome. what do you guys recommend instead?

my fiance just suprized me with the audiovox backup camera. she got it at circuit city. it is a ccd. has anyone used this before? it has a waterproof microphone built in to it. anyone know if i can get the mic to work? i dont know what i would use it for but if i can i might as well take advantage of all the features.

by the cluster means the guage cluster. take out your guages and you will find the green wire in that plug.

i just hooked mine up in my 2003 tahoe. i connected it to the brown wire on the headlight switch. it works perfectly with the auto lights on my truck. i found that by doing a search on the forum. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... ic&start=0
