So under 3d calibration (pg 68 ), if the speed pulses start adding up, it is fine. I was concerned with what is on page 69. It shows the number for speed pulse to be 0. And this driving as well.

Well, I got the time set.

Read into the manual, it doesn't clearly say how to check the VSS. Page 69 sayd speed pulse will be zero if stationary. Which it does. When moving it still says 0. But on page 68 under 3d calibration, it shows speed pulses. That number it shows (started at 0) grows everytime I drive the truck.

Hey, I just install a D3 in my 07 Tacoma and have a cople of questions. 1. When I first installed it, it would not let me change the time zone to set the time. I hadn't hooked up the VSS, brake, or reverse wires yet. So, after I hooked those up it still will not let me set the time. What am I doing (or have done) wrong? 2. How do I verify the VSS is working? 3. So other than doing the hack, I have to have the parking brake on when ever I want to set waypoints and stuff of that nature. I thought as long as you were not moving you could do that without setting the bake. Thanks in a

So I don't need the Pioneer CD-IB100II to have the Ipod and XM hooked up at the same time?

First, I would like to say Hi and that I will be soon joining your ranks as an owner of an AVIC-D3. I just sold my Tundra that had factory navigation in it and got a 2007 Tacoma with out the JBL system in it with out nav. I would like to know what hardware I need to get for my system. I will want XM (probably without Traffic), Ipod controls, and also the abilty to control all this with my steering wheel controls. So far this is what I think I need: XM Pioneer GEX-P920XM Ipod (not to clear about this one)(or do I need both?) Pioneer CD-IB100II Pioneer CD-I200 Steering Wheel controls
