  1. they advised me NOT to peel the void sticker, or do anyhtign to void the warr... but if i wanted it done they would have done it for me..... wouldnt hurt to call them up ahead fo time and ask ;)
  2. Street Smarts in Bellmore i dont have the address but their # is 679-5200 ask for Steve. They pretty much know all the hacks and mods to bypass navi and gps things. also pretty cheap---the more work u have done the cheaper they prive everyhting----- they always asking u questions about the install b4 the proceed [[ie do u mind if we void the warr.? where do u want ____ installed ect ect ect]]
  3. I live in NY... and im using the East Coast disk.... I only have the option of 5 diffrent looks for my Vehicle Dynamics Display...but when I explore the disk on ym comp i see a bunch of diffrent skins for it----- also on alot of web-sites selling the AVIC N3 thye show the unit displayed with other skins are these skins only accessiable on the west coast disk? and if their only on the west coast disk and i load 1 using that disk do i ALWASY have to have that disk in?
  4. ok..... I'll check the radio wiring problem seems like a valid tip and could cause the problem----- i know it has nothign to do with the speakers or their wiring becasue everythign works fine with a diffrent head unit------ its just annaoying to crank the music up, and each time it gets loud or theres a high note or such "MUTE" comes on the screen for a second and the volume cuts out-----the people at Pioneer werent very helpful either---thye told me to either exchange my unit where i bought it or send it in for repairs---and like my posts above show that wasnt very helpful
  5. the only amp i have running in my Jeep is to my subs...........had this problem even before i had subwoofers installed ..... but would the amp connected to my subwoofers really distort high volumes from my front and rear speakers?

I had a quick question----- when i had my N3 installed they set me unit to a switch so that it tricks the car into thinking the brake is on----only problem is then the GPS wont work---- so i can watch a DVD and use the navigation to get someplace------ if i use this paperclip trick will it mess with my GPS or does it not effect it at all---- i do alot of driving and i'd b lost without proper gps
  7. these are the specs on the speakers i have installed.... http://www.cardomain.com/item/INFREF6010CS also my installer swapped out the speakers with some kenwoods, he also changed head units [[[tried a sony and a kenwood unit] he also tried a 2nd N3 and onyl the N3's caused this problem........ it also makes no diffrence if the fader is cranked all the way towards the front or rear anyone have any helpful tips on EQ settings or frequencies i should use?
  8. Infinity 6010cs 6 1/2 2way component my installer tried the speakers both with and without the crossover---i also had a set of Kenwoods in before i upgraded to these and had the same problem

Ok so I have my iPod and XM hooked up to my N3.... and no matter what source I'm using whenever the music hits a specific picth, note, cord, tone, ect the music cuts out on me--- So any type of song with alot of treble in it is hell.. Now YES i've tried lowering all the settings and such and even had my installer take a look at the problem....tested the speakers with a diffrent head unit---and even tried another N3 unit and the N3 is the only unit to give me this problem....his only idea was to amp my rear speakers-----has anyone had any trouble like this? or have any ideas? if none of thi
