  1. I got the unit back from Pioneer. They had to replace the screen unit on it. No further detail other than the "Display Assembly" was replaced. I've got it back in and every thing works like new again. I'm seriously considering a Square Trade warranty on this unit since it's already had the screen replaced in less than 2 months use.
  2. All the labor charges are free because I handle it all. I see it both ways but Circuit City has a reputation of not upholding the extended warranties that they offer. Their sales associates push them so hard because they make commission off them. What's bad is that the "extended warranty" offered by BB and CC are roughly 20-25% of the cost of the item yet on new vehicles you can get an "extended warranty" for 4% of the total vehicle cost. $1000 radio 4yr "extended warranty" $250 25% $46000 vehicle 6yr/100K "extended warranty" $1800 3.9% And everyone thinks car salesmen are ba
  3. I appreciate all the support and help. I've enjoyed it for the past month and a half but I'm questioning my choice on not purchasing the extended warranty from Circuit City. I'm not losing hope though.
  4. I've done all this. I touched the screen, pushed the AV button in to try and switch sources, pushed the reset button multiple times, held the reset button in for 10 seconds put in the Nav disk and reset it. The entire front of the unit is not getting power except the eject button; no lights or response from any of the buttons. I even replaced the 10amp fuse on the back of the unit. All it does when you plug it in and give it power is: the fan runs and it resets the dvd drive (you can hear this). Nothing appears on the screen. It only make a beep when you hit the eject button. It w
  5. Similar, I don't have a backup camera so I can't speak for that. Nothing flashes when it gets power. I can hear the fan running and it will take and eject a disk with a beep when ejecting. No lights at all. I first thought it overheated but I ran the A/C until the unit was cool to the touch. I then took it out of the dash and used a multi meter to verify the power source. Everything was showing power at the Pioneer harness end. I then plugged in the factory radio and it worked fine. I called Pioneer this morning and the service lady was very rude. She told me to just mail it to the
  6. Mine did this to me last night. It has also been installed exactly 2 months. Did Pioneer get your's fixed, did they say what the problem was?
