  1. I just gave up on doing the bypass, can I just pay someone to do it for me or maybe refer me to a shop who'll do it...thanks!
  2. Im already at step 1, i pulled out the mute wire already and now I have no idea where to plug it...the 4 position on the bottom side has the pink/black wire labeled video input...not sure if i pull that out or not...also i did not install the park brake wire and wonder if the bypass will still work without that installed...i did the install myself and did not connect that wire and the pink wire for the speed sensor, will i encounter problems with those 2 wires uninstalled? please help..thanks so much Same method, different wire location.
  3. Newbie here, installed the nav myself but did not connect the handbrake wire and speed sensor wire and not all the buttons on the touch screen is working, i'd like to bring it to a shop in SoCal near Glendale to have it looked at but not sure where to go...please help...thanks

  5. Hello Everyone, I bought an AVIC Z2 about 2 months ago but have not installed it yet. I plan to do my install myself so any tips is greatly appreciated. This would be my first pioneer unit and has been using Alpine eversince but saw the review on the Z2 so I decided to give it a shot. I also just found out that I can't use the Pac TR-7 I had on my Alpine unit. Is there a way for me to do things on this unit without having to pull over I got so used to the having a TR-7 as it let me make routes on the nav and watch dvd's while car is in motion Thanks everyone!
