It should if the illumination wire is hooked to a 12volt + wire when the lights come on. I wired my corvette to the rear tail light, unit dims as soon as the lights come on.

the interfaces instructions are very vague, I'm waiting for btb-200 to come and I will be ready to begin. I'm sure I'll have some questions for pro's. thank you so much for your help. this has been a nightmare so far. I took the car to an audio shop to get a D3 installed along with sirius & bluetooth. Well they tried to get one over on me. Installed all used stuff, demo models and left over crap. Never worked right, no chimes they had wrong interface a real mess. all the wires were hacked off and spliced on the D3. I pulled it all out and shipped it back to them and disputed charges.

Hi was looking for help wiring D3 up to GMCO interface. do you use rca or what ? Any help or suggestions for hooking it all up would be appreciated. 07 vette no onstar has bose. I will be keeping the bose amp.

You can't just turn it off, that will only make it so it wont cut your music off when it tells you where to go. You need to turn the volume all the way down. OK, it was low. thanks I thought it would be silent. One problem out of the way.

I had a questionable installer, I received only a empty box, my stock corvette radio and 2 dvd disks back, I discovered this after I got home. So far I know I am missing owners manual, could some please tell me everything I should have received with my D3 such as registration info.... I read online about a stylus or something.
