I know it was a long time ago you posted but was your install successful? Did you lose any functions such as warning chimes and park assist chimes? Just got an Avic 900FBT and am being told that I will lose the above functions but wondering if this advice , although offered with the best of intentions, is correct? Install into 2008MY Saab 93 Aero saloon. Any help appreciated.

Hi, everybody. I have just purchased a used F900BT to install into my 2008 Saab Aero and just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions:- Is there any way I can test the unit before actual installation i.e. If I hook it up to a 12 volt source which wires would I need to connect? I read somewhere that I will lose my warning chimes and Parking assistance chimes if I install it........Is this true? Has anyone installed the F900BT into a 2008 Saab 9-3 and if so did you experience any problems ? Any help or guidance would be much appreciated
