I know what you mean. I'm trying to use CD-RW to load bgs on my AVIC but it tells me that there needs to be a BG folder, which there was.

My Pioneer AVIC-N1 makes a heavy grinding sound when reading discs, does not eject disc, does not accept discs when inserting, and the display comes out but does not go vertical. There is a mechanism error that comes up on the screen when I press the eject button. Everything else works fine(radio, touchscreen, etc.) Any suggestions?
