  1. Thats weird, mine works fine. Try turning off the cover flow option on the ipod. I have mine off since I never use it anyway.
  2. Are you referring to the track info updating, or the video playback, or both? The track info updating. Afaik, the video playback is a hardware issue but i dont plan on using it anyways.
  3. I picked up an 80 gb ipod classic yesterday and worked fine on my D3 fwiw. They just released a firmware update so that might have fixed it. I installed the update as soon as i got it so I dont know if that would have fixed it.

    D3 Pet Peeves

Dont get me wrong, I love my D3. I considered replacing it with another unit so I can have an active setup, but I dont want to part with my D3. With one disc slot, if you have a music or mp3 disc in there you will need to swap it if you want to use the navigation.

    D3 Pet Peeves

Of course theres the single disc slot, but its not that big of a deal since the ipod interface works well, albeit a bit slow. Another thing that kinda bugs me is that the volume indicator is on the bottom left part of the screen so that when you are turning the knob, your hand is covering the indicator . Why didnt they put it in the upper left? Can you move it? Since you have had you D3 installed, what are your pet peeves?
  6. Thanks, I kinda figured but hoped that there might be someway. That sucks because it would have matched perfectly if you could.
  7. Is there any way to have the backlights change color when I turn on my headlights? I looked through the manual but did not see anything. To clarify, these are the lights that light the menu, map and volume knob. I would like them to be white when my lights are off and red when they are on. That match my interior lights perfectly. I know my ill wire is hooked up right since the screen dims when I turn on my lights. Thanks for any help.
  8. Nevermind. Found it on legacygt.com. If anyone cares, its a green and black wire under the passenger side footwell. It is the same for the n/a and the turbo engine.
  9. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Like the topic title says, I'm looking for the VSS wire for an 05 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. It should be the same as the Outback 2.5i but I don't know if they are the same as the turbo versions.
