  1. I checked that thread out the other day. My angle was a bit different, I was looking more towards reliability vice "it may work now, but in a week I have found problems." Ya'll seem to be the forum experts though.
  2. Since the folks at Pioneer seem to have a list of "compatable" phones that work with the BT adapter and AVIC-Z1 and are unwilling to update it and post it, it may serve us all well to compile our own list of phones that work CONSISTENTLY WELL with our system. Recommend folks only post thier phone model after two weeks of uninterupted connectivity. If you fell that your phone has interfaced well with the avic-z1 and BT adapter, fire away.
  3. I have the impresison that the folks at pioneer are making a feeble attempt at damage control. They rolled out a product that from what I can tell, has many flaws. As far as the list I posted; it came from them and is 3 months old. If you have a phone that works consistently well with the AVIC-Z1 and BT adapter, consider yourself blessed.
  4. Just spoke to a "Khammi" at Pioneer mobile support, he stated that in order for a phone to be compatable with the avic-z1, it MUST have the following.. Need to have a phone with a Generic Access Profile (GAC) AND Head Set Profile (HSP) or Hands Free Profile (HFP) I then asked him for a list of compatable phones, he gave a list as of 3 months ago.... Nokia: I870, 6230, 6230I (with bluetooth version 1.1), 6310, 6310I, 6600, 6620, 6630, 6650, 6651, 6680, 6670, 6820A, 7610, 6670B, 8800, 890I, 9500, N90-1 Samsung: D500, D508, D500C, D500E, D600, E750, E760 Sanyo: None
