Just had a z150 installed in my silverado and am having a few issues with it. my installer used the CD-IU201N cable for the ipod/iphone adapter. I have an iphone 5 so i just put a 30-pin to lightning cable adapter at the end of it in order to use it. This setup worked fine with my z140, but when i plug my iphone into the cable with the z150 the unit doesn't even recognize that anything is attached. my phone begins to charge, but nothing pops up on the screen. If there is a way to make this work I would love to not need to go spend $100 bucks on new cables to make the iphone 5 work. Any i

2 unrelated issues, but figured I'd post them in the same thread. I've had the Z150 for a few months now, and for the most part it's been great. A big problem I've been having, however, is the unit (since day 1) has refused to store ANY destination history. The history button is simply grayed out. Check the GMOS-LAN-03 adapter, and the wiring harnesses to make sure no wires came loose (which would be hard to do since I soldered everythi

I'm a new-bie, but looking to see if anyone has experience with installing the new AVIC Z150 in a Tacoma Pickup. There are postings here about bypassing the interlock for NAV/DVD. Anyone have experience with maintaining steering wheel controls on the Toyota. Axxess with a wiring harnass? How about fit in double DIN slot? Anyone found a way to use the built-in microphone for telephone rather than the external microphone? How about routing the GPS antenna to the dash? Thanks!
