  1. CANbus/vehiclebus wiring

Hi. Trying to connect my Ford F150 vehicle bus signal to a AVH-Z9200DAB head unit. The unit has a 3-pin port and a short wire was in the box. Red, White and Blue wire but no description of these color to be found. A CANbus signal from the car is two wires. Need this working because of parking sensors and climate control. Any help is very much appreciated.
  2. Hi all. Just in process of fitting an AVIC-F77DAB which I believe is pretty much equivalent to the NEX8100 but with DAB instead of XM - please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm installing into a Toyota GT86 (also known as a Scion FR-S or an FT86 or a Subaru BRZ just to complicate things!). There is a CAN bus connection available in the car and it's two wires: one pink, one blue. According to the wiring diagrams they are 'High' and 'Low'. I've got a 5" cable with the AVIC that plugs into a 4-pin header on the back and presents a white plastic socket with 3 pins (red, white and blue). I spoke to Pioneer about this and they just told me it only works with special adapters for Ford and VW. So two questions: 1. Does anyone know what the pins presented are so that I can - if appropriate - just connect to CAN-high and CAN-low? 2. If I get it connected is it going to be able to pick up any useful information? I'm not so worried about climate control - although all new toys are welcome - I'm thinking more about tyre pressures (as the car is supposed to have TPMS) and fuel range (car displays MPG but not range) if the AVIC will even do those. Many thanks, Gareth
  3. f20bt can bus like f30bt

Hi all, I just did a successful upgrade from F20bt software to F30bt and it's working great. Now I want to go a step further, the F30bt has new can bus functionality with this cable: CD-SVW-UAR.001AE you could get climate control & park distance control on you display --> COOL!. (Some extra info about the functionality: http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/extra/25-111/241/car/vehicle-bus-display-support.html) Now the big question how can I get it to work on my F20bt device, it's basically the same device has the same Software, but I'd need some connection point to connect the can bus cable. I'm quite technical and am willing to open eventually my Pioneer, if I need to sold something I'd even do that.
