navi is off sometimes...n1 system

i have had the n1 for over a year, no mods done to it. when i check for the number of stats its connected to or sees i have all of them colored in orange.

however, when it shows me on my map, it puts me right on the road just fine, i am not positioned to the left or the right of the road, right in the middle. the problem is, when i am making a turn, left or right, i am never in the intersection when im turning, on the map. i always turn before the intersection. i dont undertstnad.

do i need to re calibrate the unit?
