impalassdude
does anyone know the colors for hooking up the speed wire and reverse in a impala ss? can the speed wire be hooked up to tach wire? thanks
blackbox
yes, run the wire from the tach and it'll work.
cntrylvr79
Yeah it'll work great. As soon as you start the car the avic will think you're moving. And if you rev the engine forget it. It'll think you're doing mach 1. What year is the impala?
impalassdude
its a 94...the 95,96 had it in the radio harness but 94 never had that feature.i was told it a green with white strip.but where?? thanks
cntrylvr79
Here's what I have for a 94 impala. Speed Sense GREEN/WHITE DRIVER FRONT QUARTER BLACK 32 PIN CONN.POS B-8 Reverse Lights LIGHT GREEN (+) AT GEAR SELECT SWITCH My guess this is either at the shifter or the trans. If it's at the trans, then it might be easier for you to just run back to the taillights and tap there.

cntrylvr79
I would venture a guess that yeah it would be the pcm.
