need cndv dvd for setup installation??

hi everybody and happy new year!

 

i wanted to know if i needed the pioneer cndv dvd for setting up my installation, it is a avh-p6400cd with a avic-9dvd. for the moment if i try to push nav/av buttom on p6400 nothing hapen(this is when i use the rgb cable) and if i use the deported connection box of the avic-9dvd i got picture on avh-p6400cd (through source/video) asking me to insert correct dvd (i try to read dvd movie). so i wanted to know if i want to use the rgb cable (cd-rgb600) did i need the pioneer cndv dvd to get picture through nav/av bouttom of p6400, did there is something to set up on avh-p6400cd for it recognize the avic-9dvd because i have no picture at all (asking me to use correct dvd) from avic-9dvd when using rgb cable.

 

please can someone could answer me because i'm gooing crazy!!!

for those who get the same trouble just push the eject buttom (of avic-9dvd) when no contact power (key acc+) put the contact while you push the eject and normaly it whill "synchronize" the avic-9dvd whith your screen.
