kaplan_reject
By the way, for future reference, try to avoid getting a OEM bose system in a car. They're the biggest pieces of junk for how much is charged for them. For a small fraction of the cost you can put together something much, much better. A little off topic, but I just wanted to add that I feel the same way about the Infinity system in the Dodge/Chrysler vehicles. The "quality" of the speakers/amps are a joke. If a stock system is all you desire then its ok, but if you want to change anything out, you can put together a better sounding system for cheaper than the factory option cost. MichaelB
Thanks for the info. I kinda thought Bose was in its own world when the original speakers years ago had the amps in the doors with the speakers themselves. Im going to check the speed sensor wire first with a simple disconnect. Else Ill have to see. Wasnt planning on keeping my Avalanche more than another year unless gas prices come down and a Prius couldnt handle a D3 last time I check unless I want to mount it in the glove box. lol Else I might just have to give in and get some speakers with the amp. I know it will sound better if I do. crappy GM
