B33R
I installed the boyo backup camera last night on a Z2, but I am confused on a few things. The connections to the camera are RCA Video, Power and Ground. I got all of them connected except the power wire for the camer. Do I connect the power cable from the backup cam to the reverse wire of the avic that is already tapped to the truck or just to a 12 v source? Anyone help? I have searched for this topic but cannot find it. Thanks! B33R BTW: '07 Tacoma
millsp
Connect it to an ignition source that way the camera can be used when driving as well as in reverse.
B33R
Ok, I can do that. From my understanding the only backup view you can use while driving is the split screen the map menu. To go full screen like when in reverse you need to run a switch, or is this mode that also be enabled from HU?
B33R
Sweet, I got it fixed and it is working as expected. The wire tap to the reverse wire came loose!
