So you say your Z2 shows the correct speed but the cars speedo is 5 to 10 off. How do you know which is correct? How do you know the car speedo wasn't always wrong. My Z2 GPS speed is 3 mph off of my truck's speedo. so what your experiencing is probably normal, not a result of you connecting the VSS wire. Believe the GPS speed before you believe the truck's speedo.

Check your connections. Something is coming loose.

Connect it to an ignition source that way the camera can be used when driving as well as in reverse.

no such animal as a Z3 yet and no the Z2 will not do this.

Be wary of buying a TV tuner right now unless you have money to burn. Come next Feb (2009) when they stop broadcasting in analog all these TV tuners will be worthless. You will then need to buy a digital tuner..

Problem is come next Feb the Tuner won't work anymore due to the elimination of analog transmissions. You will need a Digital TV tuner then.

Could be the AVIC software is designed for the IPhone not being hacked.

no. The terrestrial signals are of a different frequency than the sat signals. No interference to each other. That doesn't mean there aren't other things out there that will cause interference. but seldom will you experience it.

the Sirius antenna has the ability to receive Terrestrial signals as well as satellite signal. The GPS antenna only receives satellite signals.
